I have been growing and harvesting plants and herbs for over 40 years. I teach classes throughout the year. I, along with several volunteers maintain a large Herbal Medicinal Garden at Suny Adirondack college in Queensbury New York.
I have studied with many herbals teachers over the course of 30 years including, Rosemary Gladstar, Christopher Hobbs, Gail Ulrich, David Hoffmann to name a few.
I attended Suny Adirondack College where I studied Botany, Nutrition and several courses in the nursing program.
I served on the Board of the North East Herbal Association for several years (many years ago) and worked on the NEHA newsletter committee. Until recently I had an office at the Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, NY.
I taught an Herbal Apprenticeship program for several years. I now teach smaller classes and lectures around the my area. Please check out the classes page.
I wrote a book gathered from my years of experience using herbal plants. I filled the book with my plant drawings and most importantly I illustrated the how to or preparation section of the book because that is a very important part of using herbal plants.
