Planting Tulsi

Save the mature flowers in the fall for seeds for the coming season. I put the flowers in a large envelope in the fall and store in a dry place over the winter. The seeds will fall out of the flowers, they are very small.
The seeds are black and tiny. Use a strainer that has small opening to seperate the plant material from the seeds.
Collect the seeds.
Put the seeds on top of the soil. The seeds seem to do better on top rather than under the soil.
Tulsi seedlings
Ready to plant. Tulsi doesn’t like a cold spring so wait to put them in the ground.
Putting the tiny plants in the garden. Give them enough room to grow.
